I Asked ChatGPT4 To Summarize My Four Books. It Took 28 Seconds.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, and that rock had no internet or mobile phone service, and for some reason, you were trapped under said rock without friends or family to keep you informed of world events, you have likely heard of ChatGPT.

Just in case you have been under that rock, what is ChatGPT? ChatGPT is a language model developed by OpenAI, designed to respond to text-based queries and generate natural language responses.

It was released late last year to the public under version 3.5. Last week, version 4.0 was released, open to those who pay for the premium model. I took the plunge, and upgraded.

My first query to Ol’ Chatty was to ask about leaders and how they achieve and demonstrate work-life balance. I posted the results to LinkedIn.

My second query was to summarize my four published books. In a remarkable 28 seconds, I received the following. (Note: the total word count of the books is approximately 275,000 words.)

Model: GPT-4
