Workshop #1: Work-Life Bloom: Itโ€™s More than Employee Engagement and Work-Life Balance

As leaders continue to grapple with the challenges of our interconnected world, the traditional concept of โ€˜work-life balanceโ€™ has become outdated and unproductive. Bringing your โ€œbest selfโ€ to work and โ€employee engagementโ€ scoring are other myths we need to reconsider. However, the core of any team (or organization) is how it operates.

Rather than espouse these myths, leaders ought to be instituting several work-life factors that will help the team and its people to flourish, individually and collectively.

This face-to-face or virtual workshop helps leaders implement the work-life factors that ensure their team members will bloom in both work and life.

Based on his primary researched book, โ€œWork-Life Bloom How to Nurture a Team That Flourishes,โ€ this series tackles any number of the 12 work-life factors that your team (or organization) needs to focus on such that as many team members as possible can โ€bloom.โ€

Workshop #2: How to Become a Leader Who Matters โ€“ Masterclass

There are only two kinds of leadership in this world: leading self and leading others. Itโ€™s that simple, only two. Your ultimate goal is to master and deliver on them both. Now, more than ever, how you lead yourself and others might become the defining moment of your leadership career. Itโ€™s time to care about your leadership style. Itโ€™s time to make improvements in how you treat others.

This face-to-face or virtual workshop is based on best-selling author Dan Pontefractโ€™s book, โ€œLead. Care. Win. How to Become a Leader Who Matters,โ€ where there are nine key leadership lessons that make up a leader who matters. Considerate and engaging leadersโ€”ones who fully understand the critical importance of crafting meaningful, respectful relationships among all stakeholdersโ€”are leaders who know how to handle not only crises, but they work more effectively with others to achieve the goals of the organization.

Workshop #3: How To Be More Collaborative

When we build up and unleash behaviours that permit people to connect and collaborate with one another effortlessly, both the individuals and team wins. To collaborate is a critical business skill.

Dan Pontefract implores teams to rethink their individual and team practices by instituting systemic wide collaboration methods that encourage people to work together versus operating in silos or competitively. A collaboration framework for the team and one for individuals are key.

In this workshop (face-to-face or virtual masterclass) we will level set and then build upon your team or organizationโ€™s existing collaboration practices.

Dan will facilitate how to further build your team culture into an even more collaborative one. We become engaged when our collaboration is open, transparent, communicative & trustworthy. There is a way to master our day-to-day collaboration and to increase the bonds that foster team collaboration. Dan will facilitate an engaging session that unearths this magic yet potent formula.

Workshop #4: Mastering How to Be an Open Thinker

Leaders are busy. Super busy. Itโ€™s not as though thatโ€™s going to change. In reality, people have become experts at doingโ€”constantly being onโ€”and we have forgotten the importance of creative and critical thinking. We need to sort out a much better investment in our time to make it happen.

โ€œMastering How to Be an Open Thinkerโ€ reminds you not only of the significance of creative and critical thinkingโ€”and how to become a better thinkerโ€”but how you can build time back into your calendar (and that of your teamโ€™s) to ensure there is space in which to dream up new ideas, make better decisions, lead the team, while getting things done.

You will leave with practical, tactical, and actionable techniques in which to improve your thinking & doing, assessing where you currently sit, while learning how to feel and be less busy.

Dream. Decide. Do. Repeat. Itโ€™s your new mantra of โ€˜open thinking.โ€™ Workshop is offered in face-to-face full-day and half-day sessions + virtual masterclass (5-session option)

Workshop #5: The Power of Purpose

When we understand the importance of purpose for ourselves and the organizations where we work, itโ€™s a step in the right direction.

By enacting a sense of purpose, an engaged organization will be more successful, productive, and endearing to its customers โ€“ indeed all stakeholders.

Purpose of self is key, but so too is enacting the purpose of an organization. This is where the magic happens. This is where team members and leaders alike can shine. Having a sense of purpose has become table stakes for employees at work. Equally important, organizations need to exhibit purpose in their operating practices.

If there is a positive interconnection between the key points of purpose, the benefits will be felt by all walks of life, be it employees, customers, the community, or the environment. This is how your organization wins; by leaders embracing its purpose & defining/aligning their own sense of purpose.

There are three kinds of purpose: personal, role and organizational/team. In this workshop, attendees will learn about the importance of each type, assessing where they are personally as well as professionally.

Attendees leave with a definition of their personal purpose, team purpose, as well as developing an action plan that helps them shift their way of thinking and acting towards the purpose mindset. Workshop is offered in face-to-face full-day and half-day sessions + virtual masterclass (3-session option)
